报告人简介：

Stefan Kubik studied chemistry at Heinrich Heine UniversityDüsseldorf and King's College London. He received his Ph.D. in1992 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. G. Wulff about structuraaspects of amylose complexes. In 1993, he received a NATOfellowship for a postdoctoral stay in the group of Prof. J. RebekJr. at MIT, where he studied self-replicating and self-assemblingsystems. After returning to Düsseldorf in 1994,he beganinvestigating the host-guest chemistry of cyclopeptidescontaining non-natural aromatic amino acid subunits. From2003 to 2004, he was a substitute professor at the University ofWuppertal. Since 2004,he has been a full professor at theUniversity of Kaiserslautern (RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau sinceJanuary 2023).He is the associate editor of the Journal ofInclusion Phenomena and Macrocyclic Chemistry. His textbookSupramolecular Chemistry-From Concepts to Applications waspublished at 2020 and won the 2022 Literature Prize of theFonds der Chemischen Industrie.
